Caleb Martinez - Law School Representative (SoCal)

Caleb Martinez was born on the Pascua Yaqui Reservation. Caleb was raised in neighborhoods that were rife with crime, directly experienced social injustice, and spent much of his adolescence and early adulthood trapped in the cycle of incarceration. After being released from prison in 2012, he enrolled in community college and subsequently transferred to UC Berkeley, where he graduated with honors. He is currently a rising 3L at UC Irvine Law. Today, Martinez is a single father to a fourteen-year-old daughter. He envisions becoming a Social Movement Lawyer to provide representation to marginalized communities and become a voice for the voiceless.
